I am UI/UX and Visual Designer based in Hong Kong. I studied at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco for my BFA degree in Graphic Design and an MA degree in Web Design and New Media.
As a designer, I love solving problems and exploring different possible solutions. My favorite quote from Socrates is "the only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." It has inspired me never to stop learning and be curious all the time. It also has helped me to become a better UI/UX designer by knowing I cannot assume anything for the users. Instead, human-centered design is all about having empathy and designing for the users.
Since I was little, I always find art and design very fascinating. My 10-year stay in the United States, especially within the Silicon Valley culture, has encouraged me to pursue design as my profession. And I do not regret it. It changes my view to see the world. I pay much more attention to my surroundings and always ask why to everything. And that putting myself in others' shoes is important. Be kind and respectful to everyone.
I am also passionate about photography, serene nature, and innovative gadgets. I love going to national parks. It makes my day by seeing good design or beautiful landscape photos. In my spare time, I love going to electronic stores to try out new techs.
